WordPress: Fantastic website platform. You can literally build a great website or blog in minutes completely for free! Started as a blog software, now it’s better described as a website builder. Tons of great themes and plugins available to make it whatever you want. No doubt you have been on hundreds of WordPress powered site without even realizing it.

Bluehost: This is the hosting service I use for every website I build. Why? Because it’s incredibly easy to use with 1-click automatic WordPress installation and excellent customer service – via phone and via chat. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Bluehost for your first site. Elegant Themes: There is no reason for your website to look like a 90’s MySpace page, and you don’t need to hire a web designer for thousands of dollars to create a good looking site. Take advantage of the amazing premium wordpress themes that are available. Elegant Themes is where I get most of my wordpress themes from. I absolutely love the way their page builder works. AWeber: The internet’s most powerful email opt-in service and email marketing/broadcasting tool. This is what I used when I started building my email list and newsletter. Leadpages: Continuing on the easy-to-use theme, this is far and away my favorite tool for easily creating high-quality landing pages and squeeze pages. LeadPages will help you convert viewers into subscribers or buyers. Best of all, it works both with WordPress and non-WordPress sites alike. Infusionsoft: This is one of my favorite tools for managing clients, sales, and campaigns. It’s a way to take your autoresponder to a whole new level. It’s not necessarly what I would recommend for entrepreneurs starting out but once you are to a certain level look into it to see if it makes sense. Not sure if it’s right for your business? Kajabi: Looking to create a membership site or an online training course? This is the easiest platform to set up and run. Very intuitive to use, and integrates with all the major autoresponders and shopping carts. Plus as if that wasn’t enough, you are able to create a very effective marketing funnel that ties directly into your project. Highly recommend checking out Kajabi before looking anywhere else.

Gumroad: Gumroad is by far my favorite way to accept payments for products and services. It is similar to Paypal but does not require buyers to have an account and is much more mobile friendly. Skype: Chat/Video conferencing software. The top choice for chatting with other business people virtually face-to-face. The next level up from a phone call. (FREE)

Skype Call Recorder: Record your Skype video chat. Perfect for recording an interview and then posting it for friends and fans. Mac only. 

Fiverr: Get small project done for $5. It’s amazing what quality work people will do on this site for $5. It can help get all those little tasks done for your next project. Launch quickly and on a small budget.
